Gheelicious Chocolate Donuts (Keto & Paleo)

Guys! You need a donut mold, I was so hesitant to get one and right now I can't stop making donuts... baked and delicious donuts, BAKERY STYLE! With a delicious taste that brought me back to my childhood and with the best texture that reminded me of a typical donut from a Mexican bakery.

I was trying to create another fun recipe for you and for me since I have been posting a lot to bites and muffin treats. I really wanted to do something new and I'm so happy that I have been testing recipes for donuts!

These were perfectly soft, that made the perfect match for a latte; in my case a frothy turmeric latte with Golden Nugget Ghee as an afternoon treat. As you have seen in other posts, this is my favorite ghee for several reasons, they have a huge variety of flavors:

- Chocolate Honey Ghee

- Chocolate Mushroom Ghee

- Full Year Pasture Raised Ghee

- Goat Ghee

- Lavender Vanilla Ghee

- Turmeric Ginger Ghee

- Turmeric Lion's Mane Ghee

- Vanilla Ghee

- Yak Ghee

These donuts are not like the regular donut, we are taking the next step and making them keto friendly without sacrificing any taste. The key is to use better ingredients! For example, as sweetener we are using Monk Fruit. A natural sweetener that doesn't have any blood sugar effects and it's not inflammatory.

We are using almond flour that adds a very special and delicious taste, this is a great keto, paleo and low carb alternative to wheat flour.

To make sure we are getting a nice "bakery style" it's important to use xantam gum or cream of tartar! It's optional but I do think adds a very special consistency into the dough!

The flavors are amazing and in this recipe I made a combination of Chocolate Honey Ghee and cacao butter to add that special cacao flavor without having it on powder. Highly recommended! The best ghee I've tried, no ad needed! I'm being totally honest here!

Well, now back to the recipe that I hope you enjoy as much as I did!
