The other day some friends gave us a lot of apples... like a lot! And the since we are now the biggest apple eaters I decided to make some apple butter, check the recipe here! It's my Chai Apple Butter, a simple and delicious recipe that will be perfect for this fall season!
In this recipe I decided to use a whole batch of this apple butter to create a dreamy and creamy fudge featuring sunflower seed butter for the sake of seed cycling, it's been part of my life for a while now and I honestly enjoy creating recipes that include seeds!
Seeds rock!
They are little power houses that provide our bodies with so many nutrients! Zinc, magnesium, B vitamins, vitamin E, iron, copper among others! It doesn't matter if you seed cycle... these are perfect for anybody! Plus these are delicious.
This recipe besides being delicious is also easy to make, it only requires mixing all the ingredients and finishing everything up with some chocolate, for the perfect crunchy touch! I used low carb chocolate, just like Lakanto chocolate bars!
To keep things sweet I also used Lakanto granulated monk fruit, my favorite low carb sweetener! Because it doesn't leave me a weird aftertaste and we get a discount by using the code "PURELYHL".
Overall this recipe is:
Keto
Vegan
Gluten free
Dairy free
Easy
Delicious
The ingredients used here are so simple and all nutrient dense, as I said before! I really take seriously my role as a nutritionist by providing delicious recipes while also including nutrient dense ingredients such is the case of the sunflower seed butter, apple and dairy free chocolate.
