Bacon Jalapeño Shrimp Cakes

Serves 7 cakes
Ingredients
Shrimp
1 lb of cleaned peeled shrimp
2 pieces of slightly cooked bacon
½ tsp of garlic powder
1/2 tsp of sea salt
1 large chopped jalapeño
⅛ tsp of black pepper
½ tbsp of dried Italian herb
Cottage Cheese Sauce
1/2 tsp of sea salt
1/8 tsp of black pepper
1 tsp of garlic
1 cup of cottage cheese
Serving
1 tbsp of chopped cilantro
1 tsp of red pepper flakes
Instructions
Preheat the oven at 350F.
Place the shrimp in a food processor, add the seasonings, jalapeño and bacon.
Pulse until fully incorporated, about 30 seconds in high.
Create 6-7 shrimp cakes.
Bake for 18-20 minutes.
Blend the ingredients for the cottage cheese sauce.
Serve the shrimp cakes on a plate, top with cottage cheese sauce.
Sprinkle cilantro and red pepper flakes.
