Sauce is a very important part of my diet, and if you are like me, having a good sauce in the fridge is important. Just like breathing air, or drinking water, adding a sauce to my meals is vital. Plus sauce runs in my Mexican veins!
This sauce is the perfect combination of an Italian tomato sauce with the touch and spice of chipotle peppers. In this recipe I used chipotle powder to add that special taste to it.
The results were delicious. A perfect, creamy and cheesy sauce that would be the perfect match to veggies, noodles, meats, even to create a pizza, why not?! This sauce not only will increase the flavor of your dishes but it will also take them to a whole new level?
Worry about dairy intolerance?
Don't worry! This recipe doesn't have any dairy since I used nutritional yeast! Have you tried it yet? The taste is similar to cheese so the cheesy flavor of this sauce comes from this bad boy! I usually buy in on bulk in my grocery store.
The endless ways of using this sauce are up to you! Get creative and experiment the sensational taste! I've used it on:
- Chicken
- Seafood
- Zoodles
- Roasted veggies
- Flaxseed bread
- Tacos
And compared to stored bought sauces, the ingredients here are so minimal. Nothing funky, chemically or off about it! No need of emulsifiers here!
- Paleo friendly
- Whole 30
- Low carb
- Vegan
The only thing you'll need is your blender, so let's get started!
