Who else loves waffles no matter the time of the day? Hard to resist an type of waffle and in this recipe I'm simply using my favorite low carb and gluten free cereal in Maple Waffle flavor and guys, these bars are amazing!


This recipe had an unexpected twist but it was delicious and you are going to love how easy these are to make, and your gut will do too since we are using beef gelatin and collagen that will provide amino acids for that gut barrier.

How can we say no to a good waffle recipe? There's something irresistible about the taste and texture that I just couldn't resist using this cereal in a bar! And since I wanted to add some chocolate I created this double layered bars.


In this recipe we are using simple ingredients and nutrient dense. From greek yogurt to thickness, protein and some probiotics to the recipe...It also separates the vanilla and chocolate layer... epic epic epic.

Okay, so as I mentioned earlier I'm using Magic Spoon Cereal, that it's also low carb, high protein and gluten free. It's just perfect and I loveeee it so much. I'm using the Maple Waffle cereal for this recipe but all of their flavors are just sooo good!

Chocolate Maple Waffle Bars

Serves 9 servings


Ingredients

Vanilla Layer

Chocolate

  • 2 cup of Magic Spoon Cereal - Maple Waffles

  • 1 tbsp of beef gelatin

  • 1 cup of greek yogurt

  • 2/3 cup of unsweetened almond milk

  • 2 low carb chocolate bars


Method

  1. Pour the cereal for the vanilla layer in a bowl, add granulated monk fruit, beef gelatin and mix. Add the hot almond milk and mix well.

  2. Transfer to a silicone 8x8 dish and refrigerate for 20 minutes.

  3. Top with greek yogurt, add the rest of the cereal.

  4. Add the chocolate mars in a bowl, add hot almond milk and beef gelatin.

  5. Mix the ingredients well and pour evenly over the cereal.

  6. Refrigerate or freeze for one hour and enjoy!
