This is my iconic Chocolate Pecan Kefir Pie, made with the best and simplest ingredients, no need to complications or a lot of messy dishes to create this recipe and to enjoy a healthy meal!

This recipe overall is high protein, low sugar, gluten free and of course, delicious. I used the Organic Kefir from Kalona SuperNatural and Simply Delish, (PURELYHL for discount) as my secret ingredients that will make this recipe so moist and extra moist... hard to say no to this one!


This is just a great snack to make anytime of the year, although it's perfect for this holiday season! It's an unmissable recipe that everyone will love and will also nourish your body... since Kalona is made from from grass-fed cows on small family farms who practice regenerative farming, Non- homogenized, low temp pasteurized dairy- as closest to raw milk as possible.



Flavorful pie and nourishing kefir chocolate pecan pie for the win! The key to have a sustainable healthy life is to preach balance and to also choose better ingredients when you are cooking or baking at home... the ingredients here are a some of the staples that I usually have in my own kitchen.



This recipe was something that I wanted to try for a while now because seeing all the amazing recipes made with kefir... and of course, along some pecans, a great healthy dessert for this holiday season!

Feel free to to use your favorite low carb sweetener, I used monk fruit but I also love using alullose or stevia for my baked goods; always a staple in my baking pantry for sure, and essential for healthier desserts.


And for the pie filling, I simply used Organic Kefir from Kalona SuperNatural, a game changer to make it moist, creamy and of course even more delicious than regular pie recipes, along with chocolate instant pudding, sugar free of course from Simply Delish, PURELYHL for discount.

Chocolate Pecan Kefir Pie

Serves 4 big slices


Ingredients

Base

  • 4 scoops of Vanilla Pea Protein (used Nuzest "PURELYHL" for discount)

  • 1/4 cup of granulated monk fruit

  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract

  • 1/4 cup of greek yogurt

  • 1/4 cup of egg whites

Filling

Toppings

  • 1/4 cup of chopped pecans

  • 2 tbsp of low carb chocolate chips


Method:

  1. Preheat the oven at 350F.

  2. Mix all the ingredients for the base in a bowl and press the dough into a small baking dish. Create some pie edges with your fingers.

  3. Mix all the ingredients for the filling and pour over the pie base. Bake for 36 minutes.

  4. Once baked and cooled add the toppings and enjoy!
