The ingredients are simple and short, and the process of making these is just as minimal and easy, you'll be surprised... your guests and their tastebuds! This recipe is perfect no matter the occasion but I wanted to add a little fun twist by using cottage cheese, aji amarillo and, of course, tuna.


This recipe only requieres your oven and a blender, also is made with all high in protein, fiber, and low carb ingredients that will please your tastebuds in every bite.

As I mentioned earlier, I used some aji amarillo sauce, sustainable canned tuna, which are super versatile and made with just simple ingredients, and cottage cheese! The seasonings included in this recipe are real salt, black pepper, garlic powder and some red onion and with cilantro as well. For the sauce some greek yogurt and miso paste.


I used extra sustainable canned albacore tuna but you can use your favorite type, that will work too! As a nutritionist I know that healthy eating should be sustainable and convenient without sacrificing any taste.

Cottage Cheese Aji Amarillo Fish Cakes With Miso Sauce

Serves 6 servings


Ingredients

For the fish cakes

  • 2 cans of drained albacore tuna

  • 1/2 cup of cottage cheese

  • 1 egg

  • 2 tbsp of aji amarillo sauce

  • 1 tsp of himalayan salt

  • 1 tsp of garlic

  • 1/8 tsp of black pepper

For the miso sauce

  • 1/2 cup of greek yogurt

  • 1 tsp of garlic salt

  • 1 tbsp of miso paste

  • 1 tbsp of aji amarillo sauce


Method

  1. Preheat the oven at 350F.

  2. In a food processor or blender add the ingredients for the fish cakes.

  3. With the mix create 6 fish cakes and bake for 22 minutes.

  4. Mix the ingredients for the sauce and serve the fish cakes with the mix.

  5. Enjoy!
