There's something about chocolate that never fails, it has great taste and it's a superfood! Packed with antioxidants and it boost our energy by its compound theobromine, and let's not forget that it also increases our level of serotonin, the hormone that makes us feel happy.
Besides this addition of cacao I added some adaptogens, this have the capacity to help our bodies regulate or heal them by boosting chemicals in our body. This is a great easy hack to add into your lifestyle and adding them into recipes just makes the process so much easier!
Along with the ingredients I used in this recipe I included Cacao powder to add that chocolate twist that everyone loves. Apart from being a super food, cacao is a great source of antioxidants, do we need more reasons to get that chocolate in? I mean... real good cacao.
Nowadays we see adaptogens everywhere and good thing that they have great mixes! In this occasion I decided to go with this one from Wild Foods, that has different types of adaptogens, mentioned below!
Next time you are at your healthy supermarket go check out the adaptogen section, they are usually at the supplement area, and see what might work for you!
The other superfood was from Wild Foods Cocotropic Mix:
Cacao: Antioxidant and boots energy.
Chaga: Gets you in a better mood and has an anti inflammatory property.
Maca: Supports overall health, boosts stamina, and libido specially in men.
Turmeric: Has a great anti inflammatory power.
Reishi: Reduces stress, promotes relaxation.
This recipe is super simple, easy to make and great for meal prep! It makes 20 servings and it's a great filling snack, with a good amount of heathy fats coming from ghee and fiber from the cake, you and your little ones will be loving snack time!
Hope you enjoy this simple recipe! And don't forget to pin, save, bookmark or share this recipe with your loved ones!
With love Maria!
