Double Chocolate Avocado Tarts (Vegan, Paleo & Keto)

One of the truths in life is that life is sweet, but depend on how you look at the situations. How you decide to manage and approach the chaos that life throws at us, as simple as starting the day with a mental list of the things you feel grateful for is enough to help you realize that we are extremely fortunate and that life is sweet.

Along the way, as we decide to add flavor to our life it's also important to add that extra, and chocolate is also a thing that never fails; remember the phrase of "needing a chocolate fix"?, well I've got a recipe to add that extra flavor of joy into your life... and tastebuds!

These CREAMY and DREAMY Pies have a little secret ingredient. Avocado! One of my favorite super foods in this planet, this green bad boy has all sorts of goodness in such as potassium, B vitamins, fiber, healthy unsaturated fats, vitamin C, iron, magnesium, zinc and even copper.

Don't be fooled by the idea that a healthy dessert with avocados isn't tasty, these are the proof that healthy can meet flavor and indulgent!

Some of the other ingredients we are going to be using in this recipe are the next ones:

- Almond Flour

- Nut or Seed Butter

- Avocados

- Dairy Free Chocolate

- Organifi Complete Protein Chocolate Mix

- Granulated Monk Fruit

So you can now see that these little pies have lots of goodness and flavor. Compared to the typical chocolate tart these have no inflammatory ingredients such as artificial flavors, fillings, sugars or oils.

As for sweetener you may already know that all of my recipes are sugar-free (no cane, date, coconut, or syrups), instead I use granulated monk fruit or alullose. But by personal favorite is Granulated Monk Fruit from Lakanto, because I use my discount code, so it's cheaper this way. Use the code: PURELYHL for discount!

And to get that extra chocolate flavor and the double chocolate part of this recipe I used one scoop of Organifi All-In-One Complete Protein Mix in Chocolate flavor. The thing about this protein powder is that is has ALL THE GOODS, literally. It's made to perfection, no joke.

  • 96% of Vitamin DR (Daily Requirements).

  • that is essential for a healthy DNA action (methylation).

  • Folate

  • 49% of iron.

  • MCT oils to promote the absorption of vitamins A,D, E and K.

  • Digestive Enzymes to avoid bloating and make sure a better nutrient absorption.

  • Organic, Vegan, Soy Free, Gluten Free and Dairy Free

Plus this one is has voted #1 tasting protein powder, so yeah. The hype is real and Im here to confirm! It does add a great flavor to this recipe and even in my protein shakes, so thick and tasty.

The base of this recipe is a soft layer or almond flour and nut butter. This part is baked, it can be raw but I highly suggest to bake this part to get it nice and chewy.

Apart of being a freezer friendly recipe that's going to be perfect for these summer days this recipe is extremely easy to make, for example for the filling you can use the blender, manual blender or my personal favorite, the food processor.

Freezer friendly but always soft, not hard as rock, promise. The avocado, and the low carb chocolate are a very essential part of this recipe quality that we are looking for, and yes! Also PICKY EATER APPROVED!
