We are showing some love to all my donuts and casserole enthusiasts... this recipe is for you! But with that I also wanted to include my personal, an extra healthy but still delicious twist by just using my sugar-free chocolate and a touch of sugar-free glaze... simply perfect!

Keeping it extra delicious, healthy and just epic by using some gingerbread baked donuts for the pretty extra protein here, and to make it even healthier we are using RxSugar maple syrup as our sweetener, some apples, sugar-free chocolate syrup. A great healthy recipe without sacrificing great taste!

Gingerbread Chocolate Glazed Donut Casserole

Serves 2-3 serving


Ingredients

Chocolate Glaze

  • 1/2 cup of powdered monk fruit

  • 1 tbsp of water

  • 3 tbsp RxSugar sugar-free maple syrup

Method

  1. Preheat the oven at 350F.

  2. Mix all the unsweetened almond milk, vanilla, egg whites and maple syrup.

  3. Slice the donuts into four pieces.

  4. Add the donuts to the mix and let it soak, transfer to a baking dish.

  5. Bake for 20-24 minutes.

  6. Mix the ingredients for the glaze.

  7. Let them cool, top with sugar-free chocolate glaze and enjoy!
