Protein Buckeye Brownies

Serves 9 brownies


Ingredients

Dry Ingredients:

Wet Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

  • 2/3 cup chocolate hazelnut spread (we recommend Hey Elavi)

  • 1 whole organic egg

Peanut Butter Layer:

Chocolate Layer:

  • 1 cup organic vanilla Greek yogurt

  • ½ cup natural cacao powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Heat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cacao powder, sea salt, monk fruit, and chocolate caramel protein powder.

  3. Mix Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, combine the vanilla extract, chocolate hazelnut spread, and egg, mixing well until blended.

  4. Combine Mixtures: Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry mix, stirring gently until just combined.

  5. Bake: Pour the batter into a greased 8x8-inch dish. Bake for 21 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the brownies to cool in the dish.

  6. Prepare Toppings: In separate bowls, mix the ingredients for both the peanut butter layer and the chocolate layer until smooth.
