The end result

This easy peasy recipe is just amazing! These coconut candy bars where a hit! I freeze them but they are great if you keep them in the fridge or room temperature once the chocolate has created the shell, every bite is so good, and the difference is that I used coconut butter and not coconut oil, makes them so silky.


You can decorate these are you wish! Even for another season of holiday but for Halloween are just so fun with that black color and Halloween glitter!

Spooky Halloween Mound Bars

Serves 6 thick bars


Ingredients

  1. Coconut Filling

    • 2 cups of unsweetened shredded coconut

    • 1/2 cup of melted coconut butter

    • 3 tbsp of coconut milk

    • 1 pack of Simply Delish Raspberry Jel Dessert (PURELY for discount)

    • 1/4 cup of brown granulated monk fruit

    Chocolate Cover

    • 1 1/2 cup of sugar-free chocolate (melted, I used white and strawberry)

    • 1 tsp of black charcoal (or black food coloring)

    Decoration

    • Edible Glitter 

    • Spooky Eyes


    Instructions

    1. Melt the coconut butter.

    2. Mix all the ingredients for the coconut filling until fully incorporated.

    3. Crete 6 bars and freeze them overnight.

    3. At the next day, melt the chocolate and mix in the black charcoal.

    4. Dip each bar in the melted black chocolate and decorate.

    5 Refrigerate for a couple of minutes and enjoy!
