Guys! I know that this is a mouthful of a name for recipe but there was no other way to describe this recipe... crispy cookie dough? These are just a game changer to your air fryer and cookie dough game.
I have a confession to make. I am a cookie monster (keto cookie monster now) and this title also includes cookie dough because, well. Cookie dough freaking rocks! And as I was thinking about a new recipe to create BAM! This hit my mind.
Where does my recipe inspiration comes from?
Well, most of my recipe inspiration comes from the season and the foods that I have already in my kitchen, as simple as that! I am all about eating seasonal and making most of my ingredients that I have.
A few tips when it comes to eating seasonal and saving money that I can give you is to:
Buy organic produce and seasonal produce on sale and freeze it (specially berries)
Go to the farmers market to get better deals.
Shop the weekly deals of your grocery store.
Get creative and twist recipes in order to use whatever you have in stock instead of buying more.
I have been all about buying berries and peaches, cutting them and freezing them! This way I have no pressure to eat them before they go bad or they loose their nutritional properties. In today's recipe I used some of my frozen strawberries!
Okay, so this recipe... It's epic! If you have been following me on my Instagram by now you already know that I am seriously obsessed with my air fryer! I use it non-stop and if you haven't got one yet I highly recommend you getting one! Get a good one though, it's worth every single penny.
Air fried cookie dough? How is that?!
Well, the past week I was working on some secret recipes (for me soon to come Ebook) and I made a similar recipe, but they were more like cookies and this time I wanted to give it a try with a cookie dough like recipe, just to see how it turns.
I had some strawberries and dairy free chocolate in my freezer, so it was meant to be! They were yelling to be made! And yes, this is super easy, easier that they sound really, we are using simple ingredients, no inflammatory ingredients such as gluten, vegetable oils or sugars.
Some of the ingredients included are:
Coconut flour
Almond flour
Egg
Ghee
Dairy free chocolate
Strawberries
That's it! Easy peasy ingredients, and if you are a long time or a paleo or low carb baker fan then you may already have most of the ingredients in your pantry. I know that all fo those need to be on stock because I'm constantly baking.

Process.
I know that it may sound tricky using the air fryer but it's super easy, just preheat your air fryer at 370F. And we are going to be cooking them in batches of two. Depending on the size of your cookie dough. In my case I used a regular muffin cup size so I cooked them in batches of three.
We are going to leave them for 20 - 25 minutes. It's important to get them fully cooked because we want them crispy and well, cooked because we are using eggs in the mix.
When you finish cooking them you can let them cool down and put them in the freezer, ready to grab-n-go! A perfect recipe to include on your weekly meal prep. And for this recipe you are going to be using only:
One mixing bowl
One measuring cup
One mixing spoon
One silicone muffin container of twelve
Air fryer
