Serves 2 salmons


Ingredients:

For the Salmon Bites:

  • 4 pieces of wild-caught salmon

  • ½ tsp of garlic powder

  • ⅛ tsp of black pepper

  • 1 tsp of sea salt

  • ½ cup of unflavored whey protein (or flour)

  • ½ cup of egg whites

  • 1 cup of Kooshy Sourdough Panko

For Serving:

  • ¼ cup of Momofuku Sweet & Spicy Korean BBQ Sauce

  • Steamed Vegetables

  • Dried Green Onion

  • Sesame Seeds


Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Salmon: Carefully remove the skin from the salmon and cut it into bite-sized cubes.

  2. Set Up Breading Stations: In three separate bowls, place the whey protein, egg whites, and panko breadcrumbs. Season the whey protein with garlic powder, black pepper, and sea salt for extra flavor.

  3. Coat the Salmon Bites: Dip each salmon cube first into the whey protein, then into the egg whites, and finally coat thoroughly with the panko breadcrumbs.

  4. Air Fry the Bites: Place the coated salmon bites in your air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry at 355°F for 20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time for even crispiness.
