Hello, my name is Maria and I love making fusion recipes, and this one... let me tell you, it has been on repeat (three times this week!). It's just a combination of flavors that it makes it so irresistible, easy to make and great to make any time of the day!


There's something about Asian and Mexican flavors that it just so special and delicious, I decided to incorporate them in this taco recipe! This will make a great healthy and fun recipe for you to make for your family, picky eaters? Give this a try!

About these Tuna & Kimchi Tacos:

This is extremely easy to make and extremely flavorful! The ingredients are simple and short, and the process of making these is just as minimal and easy, you'll be surprised... your guests and their tastebuds! This recipe is perfect no matter the occasion but I wanted to add a little fun twist by using some truffle sauce with a combination of kimchi and poblano peppers.


This recipe is made with all high in protein, fiber, and gluten-free ingredients that will please your tastebuds in every bite. The perfect idea for lunch, dinner and why not? Even breakfast!



What's in these Tuna & Kimchi Tacos?

As I mentioned earlier, truffle sauce, coconut aminos, ginger, poblano peppers and of course, kimchi and ahi tuna which is super versatile and made with just simple ingredients, perfect for your lunch or dinner recipes, this one for sure!


The seasonings included in this recipe are real salt, black pepper and garlic powder, for topping some coconut aminos and red pepper flakes.


As a nutritionist I know that healthy eating should be sustainable and convenient without sacrificing any taste. For this recipe I used some ahi tuna but you can also use cook this with tilapia or salmon.

This are easy to make, moist, flavorful and so addicting! I'm obsessed, and since I have always been a fan of easy and fruity chicken salad recipes with the kick of truffle sauce and the kimchi, this recipe is definitely a winner!

I enjoyed mine for dinner or lunch, alone and by the forkful in a big bowl on the side of some extra vegetables. But even I enjoyed it alone, the flavor is just so good that I made this recipe a couple of times already. Tuna & Kimchi Tacos

Serves 4-6


Ingredients

  • 2 cups of chopped ahi tuna

  • 2 limes

  • 1 tbsp of coconut aminos

  • 1/4 tsp of ginger

  • 2 tbsp of truffle hot sauce

  • 1 packs of RxSugar alullose (MARIA20 for discount)

  • 1/2 tsp of pink salt

  • 1 tsp of garlic

  • 1/8 tsp of black pepper

To Serve

  • 1/3 cup of chopped roasted bell pepper

  • 1/3 cup of kimchi

  • Sprinkle of Red Pepper Flakes

  • 4-6 plantain tortillas (used Onana Foods)


Instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients for the tuna in a bowl.

  2. Air fry for 17 minutes at 355F.

  3. Heat the tortillas in a skillet until soft (about 1 minute each side un low heat).

  4. Serve tortillas with tuna, top with kimchi, poblano peppers, pepper flakes and extra lime... enjoy!
