About these White Chocolate Hazelnut Tarts:
Well, the ingredients in these tarts are mainly a creamy filling made from melted white chips, cream cheese and coconut. The magic happens thanks to the white chocolate and the coconut, and of course a very essential part of these tarts is the touch of hazelnut.
The crust, simple and high protein. For this recipe I'm using almond flour and Nuzest Pea Protein, also low carb, this combination is important because it adds thickness and volume to the base of this recipe, in addition of that it also adds flavor from the Vanilla Protein!
A two step tart; baked base and blended filling. Overall, this is a super simple recipe to make, almost fail proof! The base is baked and as a result we've got a fluffy and tasty crust that will one of the parts of this amazing tart.
The filling is blended or mixed, I prefer blended to avoid any lumps; the key the creaminess here is to make sure that the cream cheese is at room temperature and the white chocolate is melted.
